No way I get let off the chain to go over there, be lucky if I make it to Sydney. :-))))))))))))) First time through the book I picked a few lots on paper, haven't laid eyes on a video, might be great, might be a heap of crap, dunno. Anyway, for what they're worth...
Australasian Classic. Lots 87, 98, 130, 146,
Premier Lots 32, 75, 95, 297, 303, 326, 359,

Lot 146 . The Dam was a good stayer, best effort was a 5th in a fillies final in NZ. She was always running on and she went to Aussie and strung a few wins together straight away.
Chritian Cullen was a champ as you know and his prodigny have been very good. Also Precious Bunny and Nilator were at the top of the american game in their prime.
I think you may have under-estimated this colts value, guess the market will tell all in the end

At Karaka,
saw the last 20 odd lots go through, the Bettor's Delights didn't sell well compared to his service fee.
Any other trends did you all observe ?

Lot 87- $61,000 Lot 98- $31,000 Lot 130- $70,000 Lot 146- $110,000...not a hell of a lot by any means. :-P
My 4 pics would have cost me $270,000+. I'll just have to stick to buying expensive Coffee.

I didn't expect 100k+ but I still expected him to go for a rather sizeable ticket. 70k-80k or so. She was proved herself to be a very good racemare when she was over in WA and type wise if ever there was a mare that was hand in a glove for CC it was her. It'll be interesting to follow his progress.
