Globederby you had me going there for a minute, until I saw the time of your post. I am sure if you had picked at the meeting you would have beaten my miserable 22 points.

I saw no one else was on,and I tend to have the joker in me. Im very in and out at the moment, cant get any consistancy going. I suppose it has to do with always chasing value. Watched the MM last night, what a tough SOB is Smoken Up. Draws do dictate over a mile at menangle, providing you can make use of them. Couldnt understand TMQ being taken out of the trail,or FJ tryiing to stare the old warhorse down. Strange tactics. What do you think??

If you draw wide in the MM you are virtually out of it as there is really no way of beating the inside five. If you go back you can't make up ground as the front ones are going so fast, and if you hunt up early going wide then you are left with no real sprint. If Franco Jamar had stayed back he may have got a bit closer with his lethal sprint, but I am not a driver so don't question the tactics of those who know the horse and the abilities of the opposition.
