Still around but I work Friday and Saturday, and found it impossible to find time to do my picks. Hope you guys had a good Christmas. Have had some good news on the Globe Derby front, with some beautiful foals being born here in NZ, and out of the eight foals born in Newcastle, two have qualified as 2YOs, with one a real ripper, clocked 2.00.5 in qualifying. Keep an eye out for him, his name is Colonial Rule.

Nice to see you backand see the foals are doing good, We have a 3yo gelding out of Attorney General and Trout who is out of the Jonny Globe line, the trainer likes him he qualified him and spelled him he is coming back into work this month getting ready to race. We will have the lease in place by then.

Colonial Rule went super, ran second. He will win more than a few. Magic Rule raced as a late 2YO and of course both Starship and Lordship were top 2YOs. Yet to have a top mare, but half of his crop in Tasmania have qualified, all from Bush mares. Unfortunately they gelded all the colts, and the Globe Derbys need to be entire or they lose their heart. Colonial Rule is an entire, and like his sire, is a real gentleman. For $1000 is already worth at least $20K, and Jamie, his breeder, had several offers yesterday. But he is not for sale.
