Is this the year Christian Cullen finally gets a son to win the NZ Cup. Will it be Stunin Cullen or will Will Ohoka Arizona get the wins he needs to make the NZ Cup. He looked okay on Friday night.

Stunin Cullen and the Monkey are my top 2 hopes, will more than likely be backing SC on the day.Kiwi Ingenuity's run the other night fresh up was very good. She will be hard to hold out next time she lines up.

Monkey King and Kiwi Ingenuity for me. That race the other day that Stunin Cullen won, with Monkey King 2nd - Monkey only had to step away and he would have won for fun. Massive run!

I was very very very very impressed with the run of Kiwi Ingenuity the other night. It was a phenominal effort to stick within 2 lengths of Monkey King after having to sit outside him all the way, first up for nearly 10 months.
She had a very limited preperation for last years Cup when Robbie had all sorts of trouble keeping her sound, and she was still going to win half way up the straight until her condition gave out, and she copped a bad check. This year she looks much more forward. In fact I reckon she's nearly as fit now as she was on Cup day last year - and she has a month of improvement to go!
If she stays sound, she's going to be many lengths better than last year - I can't see her beaten in the Cup.

I also agree Greystoke. She looks even stronger than class mares such as Bonnie's Chance,Gina Rosa and even Blossom Lady. That run the other night would of cleaned her up nicely. She can sprint after doing a power of work. She makes her own luck and stays all day. I will go further and say if she stays sound I can see her winning the next NZ Cup, NZ FFA, Miracle Mile, Auckland Cup and Inter-Dominion. I wonder what the odds on that would be?

I have yet to see the race, but by the sounds of it she went huge and had a hard run. Sometimes a gut buster first up (especially after a long layoff) can screw you up for the rest of the season! I wouldn't mind her winning it, considering Monkey already had one
